surveying CAT-system

If a building is surveyed, it is examined carefully in order to discover if there is anything wrong with its structure. You can create your models based on the surveying of objects and landscapes and the origination of calculated or derived data with a CAD software/system. These created objects are related to the coordinate system (generally in metres), in which the drawing is produced.
As an observer of some cat´s behaviour it comes to my mind if there might be a serious failure in their CAT-systems. What if you put a wrong and not suitable layer structure on a cat?
Can it describe their daily routine querness?
